Our agency was founded in 1972 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We began by providing industrial companies with first class security services during labor disputes. We provided off duty police officers, deputy sheriff's, state officers and K-9 dogs to locations across Oklahoma.  Our  business  began  to  grow into general investigations in 1974. We have provided general investigations to  corporations, attorneys and insurance companies since that time.

In 1983,  several of us who are dedicated to professionalism in the private investigation industry founded the Oklahoma Private Investigators Association. Our primary goal was to establish statewide standards  and licensing for private investigators. It was our intent to add to our membership for five years and then push the legislature for a license law. To our surprise, the legislature, on its own, started a licensing law in 1984. I immediately became the Legislative Chairman for the association and lobbied at the Capital, writing and re-writing the language that, in 1988, became the Oklahoma Private Security and Private Investigators Act.
When the law went into effect on January 1, 1988, we received the first  Private Investigative Agency License, 88 PIA 1.
Part of the new law mandated specific training for people entering the private investigatstateion profession in Oklahoma. While serving on the Education  Committee, I was asked by the State to teach the first two classes in private investigation under the new Oklahoma law. Upon completion of those classes, we re-evaluated the curriculum and revised the textbooks used in the training program.

While I am the first to admit that the required training is very insufficient, it is better than the "no training" requirement before the law was enacted.

In 1993, I went back to the legislature, wrote and passed a continuing education bill that requires annual continuing education for all private investigators in Oklahoma. I was particularly proud of this accomplishment because there were thirteen continuing education bills before the legislature and ours was the only one to pass.
When the new Workers Compensation Fraud Act was enacted, I was asked by the Oklahoma State Chamber of Commerce and Industry to serve on a statewide panel discussion with Mr. Jim Bednar, the Assistant State Attorney General who was in charge of that unit.

I was also asked by Lt. Governor Mary Fallon to participate as a member of the Fallon Commission to revise workers compensation in Oklahoma. The videotapes used by the Commission to demonstrate the abuse by claimants were taken by our agency. Since 1988, I have served on other study committees at the Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training.

I am one of only a select few "civilians" who have completed the gaming regulators schools taught by the Nevada Gaming Control Board. I took these courses in anticipation that Oklahoma may adopt casino gaming, so that I may be able to assist in the administration and enforcement of gaming regulations.

As you can see, we are very dedicated to credibility and professionalism. We want our clients to have only the best possible investigations conducted by competent investigators.

We are not the least expensive investigation agency in Oklahoma, but we are competitive and fairly priced for the product produced.
